Eliot Institute Board of Directors
Covenant of
Right Relationship

The Mission of Eliot Institute is to create and support an inclusive community of celebration, friendship, exploration, relaxation and joy  for Unitarian Universalists, their families and friends.

As members of the Eliot Institute Board of Directors, we covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of each Eliot Board member, staff member and camper.

To do this we will address each other with respect, entertaining opinions and viewpoints different from our own with patience and good will.  We will receive suggestions with belief in their positive intent and, in turn, we will make suggestions that serve the mission of Eliot Institute.

In communicating with other Board members, staff,  or campers, whether in person, in writing, or via electronic mail, we will adhere to our guidelines for professional confidentiality and positive interaction with each other.

We will remember that our purpose as Board members is to maintain and improve the heritage of Eliot Institute so that it  may continue to create an inclusive community of celebration, friendship, exploration, relaxation and joy for Unitarian Universalists, their families and friends.
